Abstract

This paper intends to report the development of an extension project called "Science in the Indian village." In this project the students majoring in Physics conducted three science classes in school the indigenous village of Torres-RS. The design intent is both to assist in the teaching-learning process in the indigenous village and in training future teachers in Physics. Students developed their classroom lesson plans that focused on the theme of light and organized teaching resources and experiments.
