“CONSTRUIR UMA NARRATIVA QUE NOS LEVE A OUTRAS PRÁTICAS DE PODER”: UM ESTUDO SOBRE GÊNERO E EMPODERAMENTO FEMININO COM MULHERES TRABALHADORAS

Abstract

According to the International Labor Organization (2019), although the participation of women in the global labor market has grown enormously in recent decades, from one in five to one in two, gender equity is still a goal to be achieved. This study, of applied nature, with a qualitative interpretation of the data (BARDIN, 2002), investigates how the theme of gender equity and female empowerment has been incorporated into the lives of female workers, and proposes an intervention based on the diagnosis. Data were generated from questionnaires and workshops with the participants. The results indicated that the theme of gender and female empowerment reverberates in the participants' daily lives and professional opportunities, that the intervention fostered awareness of these issues and a series of actions, aiming to transform the reality of the participants.
